OK, I'm a little concerned that I might become one of those jaded lesbians with a chip on her shoulder - quite frankly, I'm so sick of homophobic straight people I could puke.

But I sent that e-mail to the lesbian couple that I know, close to my age, and I think we're going to meet for lunch sometime next week. Hopefully, that will go well. I don't want them to feel saddled with some newly out, for all intents and purposes, lesbian who needs guidance - I want to come across as more stable than that, but when it comes down to it, that's a fairly accurate description, isn't it? *sigh*

Anyway, I should TRY to get some work done.
