2003-06-11 another toddler story Second entry of the day, but really quite cute: Dinner last night: The divine is seated in her booster chair and after i unlatch the little lap strap thing (and yes, that's the technical term), she says (as is her mantra), "I'll get down by myself," although makes no move to do so. I walk into the kitchen and my grandmother says, "OK" and continues eating. Again, the divine states, "I'll get down by myself," while not initiating any movement to actually accomplish this feat. Again, my grandmother says, "OK." She finally starts to slide down carefully but her feet don't quite reach the ground and, apparently feeling unsteady, says, "Granny-great, can you help me get down by myself?" << & >>
