valentine's day is coming and for the first time in a long time, i actually have a significant other that i care about. so, i want to get her something great - i'm not into big, obnoxious presents but something thoughtful and perfect, that shows that i put real thought into buying something, not because just anyone would like it but b/c i know you and i love you and i knew YOU would like this. so, now i just have to figure out exactly what that is.

the divine is easy, i think. i am going to try to find a winnie the pooh cd, if one exists. i just got her the many adventures of winnie the pooh and she LOVES it, especially the rain song. (i'm usually pretty strict about only letting her watch one video a day but since she's had this illness stretch, i've been pretty lax about that. and she's so happy to cuddle under a blanket with me when she doesn't feel good and watch winnie the pooh - and how can i possibly resist that?!) anyway, if one of those exist, i'm going to get that and she recently discovered the fun of us painting her fingers and toes but i don't have that many colors b/c i don't do a lot of that. so, i think i'm going to get a cute little basket, something valentiney, and put the cd and some nail polish with fun colors and some candy and tie some balloons on, she loves balloons. and if i could find a kanga doll, that would be really great, b/c she likes that character a lot for some reason and she already has a pooh and tigger that talk to her. we'll see.

beth, though - that's going to take more thought.
